Volunteer Link

Volunteer Link is a recruitment referral and training service for Volunteers and Volunteer utilising organisations in the St George and Sutherland region of southern Sydney.

* RECRUITMENT

Volunteer Link recruits volunteers for over 120 different organisations. Volunteer roles are available for varying hours and days of the week in a wide variety of roles and for many different interests and skill levels.

* REFERRAL

Volunteers can contact Volunteer Link directly on 8558 4000 to make an appointment for an interview to determine the best Volunteer role "match" that meets individual skills, interests and availability.

Organisations reliant on volunteers to deliver services can register with Volunteer Link and particular volunteer positions can be recruited for. Organisations can also call for information on resources, ideas for supporting volunteers, or any other volunteer management issues.

* TRAINING

Community Information Desk

The Community Information Desk is based next to the Coles Supermarket in Westfield Shoppingtown in Hurstville. The Desk is staffed by skilled volunteers who can help members of the public find information on a wide range of topics. When the Desk is not attended, information is available from the shelves, and from the Information Screen that operates from the same site.
